long hot summer

As with all my work, the theme of freedom and authenticity runs deep through this project. Taken over a series of summers the idea is to capture that feeling when everything feels like it’s just where it’s meant to be, like anything is possible and you want that moment to last forever!

behind the glitter

A show about authenticity and honesty. Following Burlesque Performers, Drag Queens and Sideshow Performers behind the scenes into a world not often seen.

how are you?

I explore the symbolism of the duvet and the way we connect to parts of ourselves both in a nurturing, nourishing way and through necessity. I am interested in the way people’s expressions soften once they are wrapped up in the comfort of a blanket, and how we are often brought back to a place where we feel instantly safer, and more at peace.

riding silent storms

Through lockdown, I documented family life at home, whilst also documenting my experiences with c-PTSD and the effects that the pandemic had on my mental health. The outcome being a contradiction, showing more than ever, that what you see is not always what you get, what seems like happy carefree summer photos cover much darker layers of sadness and struggle to lie below the surface. The collection of writing and words will hopefully encourage others to feel not alone and help open up more conversations about mental health. Reminding us all that you never know the whole story!
